MaxSafe first came to use NewHire for recruiting in December of 2007. Having weathered the economic storms of the “Great Recession” they returned in March of 2011 choosing to implement NewHire Professional to hire a Route Sales Representative.
The process began with a Position Profile intake. The NewHire team executed a discovery interview to fully understand the details of the position and the corporate culture. Fully armed with the details of the position, the NewHire team created a customized pre-employment application including the recruitment advertisement text and the customized screening questions. These were both reviewed and approved by MaxSafe.
Recruitment advertising was placed on major job boards including CareerBuilder.com, the NewHire job board and Indeed.com. 163 candidates applied for work, answering screening questions and uploading their resume into MaxSafe’s NewHire account.
Our staffing professional worked with MaxSafe, using NewHire’s powerful screening tools to identify top tallent. Of 163 candidates who applied, 46 candidates met initial screening criteria and 8 were invited for a phone interview, conducted by NewHire staff. Notes from these phone interviews were reviewed by MaxSafe. Two candidates were selected for face-to-face interviews. By mid-May an offer of employment was extended and accepted!
