We are looking for a temporary employee who could provide backup IT / Help Desk support for an established firm with a great track record in the Chicago market. Work in a Chicago Loop high rise with a young, dynamic and energetic team. Work in an environment where you can see immediate impact of your work contributions. You must be a self-starter.

 

Specific responsibilities include:

  • support end users for all MS Office applications
  • support end users in Lotus Note and/or MS Outlook
  • maintain computers for about 70 employees at two locations macs and pcs
  • install new computers, set up new email accounts and  manage passwords
  • handle regular network backups, restoring lost files etc
  • monitor computers for viruses and maintain regular anti-virus updates for all computers
  • install software upgrades as needed
  • handle some Web site content updates

Qualified candidates need to have a great customer service "can-do" attitude and the patience to assist all level users. BA or BS preferred. MS Access programming skills a plus. Hourly wage commensurate with experience.
