We’re looking for experienced Sales Ambassadors to prospect new business for the largest senior general agent to represent Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois. (UIS) today is the largest senior general agent in The Sales Ambassador will have complete responsibility for driving sales in his or her local territory. With most days spent visiting prospective clients in the field, the Sales Ambassador will have the freedom to succeed. There will be no overnight travel required. Authorities and Responsibilities The Sales Ambassador will be responsible for 100% of the new business generated in their territory. This will include: Ø Surpassing revenue goals. Ø Scheduling and completing face-to-face cold-prospecting activities. Ø Demonstrating consistent growth and improvement. Ø Setting and attaining goals for professional growth. Ø Showing success in cross-selling and up-selling. Ø Giving presentations at regional seminars. Requirements The right candidate for this job will have a background which includes: Ø Licensed to sell Life and Health insurance in Ø Years of proven success in consultative business-to-consumer sales, ideally in insurance and financial services. Ø Experience with cold-prospecting and in-home sales. Ø Engaging, confident, money-motivated personality. Ø Able to overcome adversity and objections. Ø Willing and able to travel daily within your local territory. Ø Formal sales training (like the Sandler Selling System) is a plus. Ø Organized with strong communication skills.
