We’re looking for an organized, motivated Sales Representative to manage existing accounts and introduce our solutions to new customers. Authorities and Responsibilities The Sales Representative will have complete responsibility for driving sales in his or her territory. Spending the majority of their time in the field, calling on customers and prospects, the Sales Representative will have the freedom to succeed. There will be extensive daily regional travel, but very limited overnight travel required (perhaps 2 to 3 nights per month). Further responsibilities will include: Ø Meeting and surpassing revenue goals. Ø Prospecting for and selling into new accounts. Ø Managing and building upon existing business within established accounts. Ø Ensuring follow-up and excellent sales service to clients Ø Ø Setting and attaining personal goals for professional growth. Ø Routine service on injection equipment that we provide customers Requirements The right candidate for this job will have a background which includes: Ø Proven success in sales, ideally business-to-business. Ø Willing and able to travel daily within a regional territory. Ø The mechanical aptitude to understand customers’ operations and address possible problems. Ø Strong prospecting and closing skills. Ø Driven, organized personality. Ø College degree in business or chemical engineering strongly preferred. Ø Formal sales training preferred. Ø Ability to install equipment weighing 50 lbs or less (we will train). Ø Ability to Diagnose and correct performance problems that may occur at customers’ plants.
