AMI Monitoring is looking for friendly, experienced EKG Rhythm Technicians to monitor, scan and interpret EKG / ECG rhythm tracings from our offices in North Dallas, TX.  AMI Monitoring, Inc is a leading medical device company that provides new technologies that help detect cardiac abnormalities.  The EKG Rhythm Technician is the backbone of our company, working with patients and their doctors to help them use and understand AMI’s devices.  To the right candidate, we offer:

AMI Monitoring, Inc is a cardiac monitoring company providing services to physicians and hospitals across the nation, with our home office in Richardson, TX.  We monitor patients' cardiac rhythms while they are at home or work, allowing them to go about their normal lives.

 

Authorities and Responsibilities

The EKG Rhythm Technician will work with patients and their doctors over the phone to help them understand AMI’s equipment, and interpret the results.  This will include:

Ø      Assist arrhythmia patients on use of monitors; and to obtain EKG transmissions via the telephone.

Ø      Interpret and edit EKG rhythm tracings.

Ø      Notify physicians’ offices of cardiac arrhythmias.

Ø      Solve problems with use of monitors and answers patients’ questions.

Ø      Document patient notes.

 

Requirements

The right candidate for this job will have a background which includes:

Ø      Knowledge of EKG monitoring/interpretation.  Certified EKG Rhythm Technician  (CCI certification) preferred but not required.

Ø      Knowledge of event recorders, Holter monitors, and/or mobile telemetry devices preferred but not required.

Ø      Excellent computer skills.

Ø      Experience in customer service, especially telephone skills and medical documentation concepts.

Ø      Knowledge of medical ethics and HIPAA guidelines.

Ø      Strong communication skills, positive attitude, mature, conscientious, and accountable.
