To attain our goals we are looking to hire for the following position:

Conveyor Fabrication & Assembly Technician - The primary purpose of the job is to mechanically fabricate and assemble special conveyor equipment for the food, commercial, industrial, warehouse and automation industries. Conveyor assemblies may range from simple weldments to complex and precision assemblies including sheet metal, power transmission, pneumatics, and specialty components. Fabricators may work alone or as part of a team.
Job Duties Include:
A successful candidate for this position will possess the following skillsets:
  • Baseline pneumatic, electrical, and hydraulic experience is a must.
  • Experienced in MIG and/or TIG welding of mild and stainless steels.
  • Must have the ability to work unsupervised to a dead line and have the ability to work from blueprints and schematics.
  • 3+ years of conveyor or similar machine building experience required.
  • Should be able to layout parts from blueprints, setup and use shop fabrication equipment to make parts from scratch. Shop equipment can include; shears, ironworkers, drills, mills, saws and welders among others.
  • Use hand and power tools to assemble and test conveyor equipment per specifications.
Specific Skill Requirements and Essential Job Functions
This position requires a high school degree or equivalent. An advanced education and/or training may be required in specialization (e.g. welding). Experience in job shop sheet metal fabrication is vital. Prior experience in Package and Unit Handling conveyor equipment or custom machine building is a plus.
