NewHire (a software service of New Office Temps, Ltd.) is committed to respecting the privacy of our users.
We strive to provide a safe, secure user experience. This Statement sets forth the online data collection and usage
policies and practices that apply to all of our websites (unless a different privacy statement is specifically made applicable).
By using a NewHire website, you consent to the policies and practices described in this Statement.
Issues this Privacy and Terms of Use Statement Addresses
This statement covers how NewHire treats personal information that NewHire collects and receives. Personal
information is information about you that is personally identifiable like your name, address, email address, or phone
number, and that is not otherwise publicly available.
The Collection and Use of Information
Our sites may contain links to other websites over which we have no control.
NewHire is not responsible for the privacy policies or practices of other
Websites to which you choose to connect to from a NewHire Website. We

This Statement applies solely to the information we collect on a NewHire
website, and does not apply to information we collect in any other fashion.
- All information that NewHire collects is provided by you on a voluntary basis. NewHire may collect personal information
when you register with NewHire, when you use NewHire products or services, when you visit NewHire pages or the pages of
certain NewHire partners, and when you enter promotions or sweepstakes. NewHire may combine information about
you that we have with information we obtain from business partners or other companies.
- When you complete a NewHire pre-employment application we may ask for information such as your
name, address, email address, birth date, zip code, occupation, industry, and work history. Once you apply on-line with
NewHire or sign in to our services, you are not anonymous to us.
- NewHire automatically receives and may record information on our server logs from your browser,
including your IP address, NewHire cookie information, and the page you request. NewHire does not currently collect IP
address data, but we may do so in the future. NewHire does not currently use cookies, but we may do so in the future.
- NewHire may sometimes give you the opportunity to provide detailed personal information
about yourself or your work history, but it is solely up to you whether you furnish such information. If you do provide
such information, you are thereby consenting to the use of that information in accordance with the policies
and practices described in this Statement. Users should be aware that when they voluntarily display or distribute personal
information (such as their email address or phone number), that information can be collected and used
by others. This may result in unsolicited messages from third parties for which NewHire is not responsible.
Also, you may have arrived at this website by following a link from a NewHire newspaper affiliate or other affiliate.
NewHire may share your information with that affiliate and the affiliate may use the information in a manner consistent
with its privacy policy rather than this one.
- NewHire retains information that you provide us indefinitely. You may request that we remove
your information from our database at anytime by indicating this desire in an email addressed to
info@newoffice.com. We will do our best to process this request in a timely manner. The removal
of data specifically does not apply to archival data stored for security purposes.
- You may submit feedback to NewHire at the email address
info@newoffice.com. Any feedback you submit in this area becomes our property, and we can use
such feedback (such as success stories) for marketing purposes or contact you for further information.
- NewHire may also share anonymous information about visitors to its websites (for example,
the number of visitors to all of our pre-employment applications in a given month) with its clients, potential clients, partners
and other third parties so that they may understand the kinds of visitors to NewHire's site and how those visitors use the site.
- NewHire supplies technology, hosting and related services to other leading companies to power
recruitment areas on their Websites. Personal and/or demographic information supplied by you in private label recruitment
areas becomes part of the NewHire database, but it is not accessible by anyone other than NewHire and the company
concerned.
- Information gathered on a page in a private label recruitment area, or on a co-branded page (such as that
of a employment posting on a client company's website), may become the property of the other company or of both
NewHire and the other company. In that instance, the use of such information by the other company may be subject to the
privacy policy of that company and, in any event, NewHire is not responsible for that company's use of your personal or
demographic information.
- If you apply for a position through a co-branded or partner site, you may be asked to provide
information on your age, gender or race. Some employers are required by law to gather this information from job applicants
for reporting and record keeping requirements. You should understand that if provided, this information will
be used by employers only in accordance with applicable law and will not be used in making any employment decisions.
Providing this information is strictly voluntary and you will not be subject to any adverse action or treatment if you choose not
to provide this information.
- You assume all risk and responsibility for use of this
site and the internet in general. NewHire, a software service of New
Office Temps, Ltd., an Illinois corporation makes no warranty or guarantee,
implied or otherwise, to the security of your personal information
as provided by you.
Disclosure of Information to Others
NewHire does not sell or disclose to unaffiliated third parties your personal information, combined personal and demographic
information or information about your use of our service except as described below:
- We may disclose such information to affiliated third parties, such as media outlets (including,
but not limited to, newspapers, newsletters, magazines, websites) that contain links to NewHire pre-employment
applications. We may use data we have about you (such as the interests and preferences you have expressed) to determine
whether you might be interested in the products or services of a particular third-party.
- We may disclose such information to companies and individuals we employ to perform functions
on our behalf. Examples may include hosting our Web servers, analyzing data, providing marketing assistance, processing
credit card payments, and providing customer service. These companies and individuals will have access to your
personal information as necessary to perform their functions, but they may not share that information with any other
third party.
- We may disclose such information if legally required to do so, if requested to do so by a
governmental entity or if we believe in good faith that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to legal requirements or
comply with legal process; (b) protect the rights or property of NewHire or its affiliated companies; (c) prevent
a crime or protect national security; or (d) protect the personal safety of users or the public.
- We may disclose and transfer such information to a third party who acquires all or a substantial portion of
NewHire's business, whether such acquisition is by way of merger, consolidation or purchase of all or a substantial portion of
our assets. In addition, in the event NewHire becomes the subject of a bankruptcy proceeding, whether voluntary or
involuntary, NewHire or its trustee in bankruptcy may sell, license or otherwise dispose of such information in a transaction
approved by the bankruptcy court.
Security
NewHire has implemented reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to secure your personal information from
accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration or disclosure. However, we cannot guarantee that unauthorized
third parties will never be able to defeat those measures or use your personal information for improper purposes.
Children
NewHire is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 16 or the legal working age of the jurisdiction in which an
applicant for work resides. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 16.
